A walk audit is just a way to see what your city is like from a pedestrian's point of view. In LVBT's walk audit series, we pick a stretch of street, walk it together, and notice the stuff you normally tune out — where the sidewalk ends, how long you're standing at a crossing, whether there's any shade while you wait for the bus. Once you see it, you can't unsee it.
No transit or urban planning experience needed. Seriously, none. Come as you are, make a new friend, and get to know your city a little differently.
Meet up location: 7-Eleven at N Decatur and W Craig
Route: starting from 7-Eleven, walk eastbound to Raising Cane's near Allen Ln, then walk back
Free parking is available around the corner near the 7-Eleven.
