College student outreach

Why this project

College students are some of the most transit-dependent residents of the Valley. They’re also the people who will be voting, working, and running for office in this city for the next forty years.

Student chapters are how transit movements in peer regions stay durable across years. We will build the same.

Approach

• Outreach through student government, student newspapers, and existing public-policy / urban-studies clubs
• Co-host events with sympathetic faculty
• Provide training in organizing, comms, and policy basics
• Pursue grant funding to underwrite student stipends where possible
