Why this project
The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and FTA’s Capital Investment Grants program are still distributing significant funding for transit projects through 2030. Capturing that money for the Valley requires Nevada’s congressional delegation to advocate for our applications, write supporting letters, and (when a project is shovel-ready) help get it across the line.
Goals
- Develop relationships with the offices of Nevada’s full congressional delegation, with a focus on members representing the Valley
- Coordinate with RTC’s federal-grants team on supporting LVBT advocacy for live applications
- Make Las Vegas a visible recipient of federal transit attention — site visits, joint announcements, project tours
